Anybody going to Great Yorkshire Bike Show???
28th and 29th July in Cullingworth.
First one was last year and it was great.
Doin it over 2 days this year cos it was so busy last year

i went last year and thought it was crap.

very little of substance actually there, the traffic management on the approachs was laughable, there wernt enough food and drink stalls so the ques were horendous, and very overpriced.

i hope its better this year cos its good to have something like this locally, but after last year i wont be going again until i hear about significant improvements

I went last year aswell. The dealer stands were what you'd xpect anywhere. The tyre stall had the GSVR http://upload4.postimage.org/586795/IMAG0058.jpg

There were a few decent stalls with gear there, the shows were decent.

To be honest it's what you'd expect for a first go at it. They didn't know how many to expect and so guessed at what they'd eed facilities wise...they guessed wrong. I'll be going this year probably and if it's no better then next year i'll give it a miss.

Your right about the traffic, it was horrendous. They are paying the plod to organise it this year so it shouldnt be as bad (in theory!) and they did sell out of burgers but last year they were expecting 2,000 and actually got closer to 10,000! :roll:

Must agree with captain Nemo.It was the worst "show" I have ever attended!They did appologise for toilets,food and traffic over tannoys so maybe it will be better.Might try it.

i went this year, on the saturday but didnt think to highly of it tbh

Neither did I, definatly not worth a tenner, maybe a fiver

Was looking to spend £200- 400 on a decent helmet and the only place that were selling them was jordans, gonna wait for the nec methinks
