Clutch advice - don't shoot me down!

Okay, I have recently adjusted my clutch, as per Haynes, Sid and Suzuki guides recommend - but I can't get it to a point where I'm happy. I have been over it 2 or 3 times, subtly altering the postion of the pushrod and always end up with a lever that feels good, though biting point is a little to far towards the end of the lever, or a nice biting point with a little too much free play. The bottom line is it's not massively out at all - just slightly and I can't seem to nail it.

My bike is a K3 and the cable is well lubed and I doubt the the clutch is that worn.

I'm just after some advice.

Thanks
Luke

Do one at a time, bring the biting point further in an you think you want it then take the slack out of the cable.

When I'm doing it I tend to get a helper, so youput it in 1st, and have someone move the back wheel. When you let the clutch lever out and can't move the back wheel by hand that is the very start of the bite point.
