Come on folks...the summer is past the halfway mark and us Triumph riders are dominating this Essex "SV meet" :shock: :!: So..., lets see some new people and more SV's this friday night. Only, Caddy and myself showed up last friday( oh and some hippy 4-some on a couple of 80's honda and ducati's :shock: )

So get your leathers on and join us for a drink at the Barge on friday night :wink:

Correction.. my leather jacket fit.. I was wearing my textile troos. :lol: But my bike is still crippled...

Still, from where I was sitting, I couldn't see anything wrong :wink: And who says you have to be there on a bike...many a night we arrive by cage...But then having said that, those would be the winter nights :oops: Besides, a bit of social time will do us all good after the hot spell we're having at the moment.


And in a different vein, we know that a certain Ian wont be there 'coz of the high pollen count :wink: :lol: :lol: :lol:


Anyway, I seem to be derailing my own thread now...SO STOP IT J!!! :shock: :shock: :shock:

By the way, you were right about the spitfire at Shuttleworth; out of action for about 2 years - complete overhaul inc x-raying!!!!
2 reasons why
1) Money
2) the bloke who looks after it is an ex-rolls-royce engineer so a perfectionist and doesn't want anyone else to look at it let alone dirty it with their fingers/mouths/appendages
