Tail Tidy Issues, anyone else experienced this?
I recently fitted a tail tidy onto my '54 plate sv650 and realised that there are two small gaps (about 3 by 1.5 cm) where the plastic of the original "undertray" don't meet the tidy and is "hanging loose" so to speak. Has anyone else had this problem or know of anyone that did? There are a few different after market undertrays availible and i dont know which will fit, if any now?

i recomend the ermax undertray, have a bit of a wait when you order it, but imo looks damn fine on the bike lol

solve the problem by some small holes drill in the plastic ands a tactfully placed cable tie on each side and itll look great and 99.9% of people wont even notice the cable ties

Should have bought a better tail-tidy,some come with the bits to blank the holes off!
Evotech type does,I know........I have this type. |
Where is there a poll about exhausts here?

I suffered the same problem with my tail tidy and i modded some flexi black plastic i had to cover holes looks much better untill i get my colour coded under tray

I got an R&G one. No fitting problems due to the large rubber gasket that came with it. :)
As for exhausts, stay the same level, that way you can still take pillions. |

Are tail tidies (eg the r&g one) easy to do for someone that is usless at mechanical things?
|
my R&G one was a complete git, but I gather they are different now.
