R&G's are they worth it.

It's over £100 for the R&G's I want - Pointy with Lower Fairings.
Are they worth it?
At least it might save me spending £105 on a Lower fairing mounting kit.
I don't imagine it would be possible getting exactly the model I want with all the fittings secondhand either on this site or eBay.
Thanks

R&G's have saved my bike from major damage twice ounce falling off its stand and a lowslide!

Worth every buck!

My bungs were £70 fitted. Haven't stacked yet but they'd easily cover their own cost in damaged saved if you had a spill.

Just don't do and flip the thing and you'll love them. :p

There were 2 versions of the SV R&G bungs, the older type had a nylon bung that screwed into a metal cup on each side, these tended to just pop out n a crash. The newer ones use a metal bolt through the nylon bung and are better. Do a search for "crash bungs" and you should find people's comments and votes on the various brands.

Have a word with Steve Jordans, they should be able to source some for you for less than £102, unless R&G have put their prices up

I think there are better products for less money.

What would you recommend for a K3 with lowers?

My personal impression of R&Gs is that they are a bit /too/ sacrificial - they are 'one use' and in some cases do damage the fairings they are protecting.

The very solid ones on my minitwin I have been quite impressed with so far.
