Put some clothes on a Naked

Im looking to put a nose faring on my SV650 curvy and change the riding position close to that of a "S". Is this possible? Has any one done it? Or would I be better advised to swap it in for a Wavy S? :smt102

yeah its possible, not so much or mager adjustments/work

you will have to change your handlebar to a "lower" 1 then and buy the side panels who are mounted to the original frame

I'm contemplating doing the same on my naked.

If you are talking just a fly screen and lower bars, the you can do it the cheap way...

Buy clip ons from ebay and transfer all the switch gear to these. Take the risers off and buy a yoke cover for an faired bike to hide the holes.

Or the more expensive way...

Get a faired top yoke, clip ons and all the control cabling and replace all the originals.

The only other option I can think of is to get straight bars. This will make the riding position lower and more forward. By all accounts this is a bit of an extreme riding position though.

IF I decide to do it, I shall get the faired top yolk, clip ons and new control wiring.

I've got straight bars on my "converted" S. It's less extreme than clip ons and makes me feel like I've got the spindle between my hands. I like it :D

I'm sorry, I don't remember stating that I was going to put a screen on... hang on let me just check... nope I did not seem to mention anything about a fairing or screen.

Keep up dear chap.
