Biker down on M4 last night
HI all,
On my way home last night west bound along the M4 towards Newport junc 26 - just before brynglas tunnel, after a long journey (as usual). And I saw a sight that I never want to see again. What looked like a red, naked GS the rider laying on the ground, Policeman was over the rider doing what I don't now, I rode past just as the paramedics got there. The bike looked in a bit of a mess, looked as though it had gone into the armco. Not too sure how the rider was, but he/she were obviousley hurt. I truly felt sick after, as it was right on my doorstep (if you know what I mean). Rode past the exact spot this morning, couldn't see any visable damage to the armco, but could see lots of tyre marks on the tarmac. I'm preying the rider is not hurt. Folks, for my sake, as I get it in the neck from Mrs Mass all too often. Please, please, please be careful. I know there are nob eds out there that shouldn't be in a car, let alone have a licence. I'm not preeching but please take it easy. Make sure you use your mirrors, useless as they are on the SV apart from checking your elbows. Do your life savers, they aren't named that for fun. And just generally ride safe, better getting there late, than never at all. And if you're going to blat it, ease off, what's the rush. If you get caught it's a fine or ban? I'm seriousley not preeching to you, I genuinely don't want to come on here and find out one of you lot have gone down the road. It's not a nice feeling folks :( Please ride safe Mass |
