hi got an sv which is sorted just wonder if any of you lads can help me out with my scooter its an 02 yam neos it had no drive up hills and would struggle i stripped variator and found rollers to be not round so changed them still the same so i found the clutch was slipping so changed that dont think its the belt it all gets up to full speed on stand its just when you add weight and a hill i am only ten stone so it should pull me if any one can help that would be great

we have a cygnus x 125 yam which works similar with belt drive but the bloody thing is so complex i dont understand its workings sorry :roll:

you have a scooter and need to ask a question!.


There is only one answers, oxy-acetelene torch, sledge hammer, and Fred Dibnahs road roller. all parts should be capable of fitting in a match box or your not fettling it right.

hi mate i had a malaguti foggy rep pit scoot for the winter and had the same problems. I know it sounds strange but eventually traced it to the exhaust being partially blocked so to much back pressure see if you can get a second hand one , hope this helps mark :idea:
