Mod advice needed for a newb
 

Sorry if its been covered before but...

I have a 2000 650s and would like to swap the stock mirrors for the gsxr mirrors with the integrated turn signal, and thus eliminate the front stock signals...Is this at all possible?

Also, I would like to swap the stock kickstand for something that stands the bike up a bit more vertical.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

The SRAD side stand fits and is a bit taller TSM has fitted one I think as for the mirrors I don't know!!!!

Well im gonna order the mirrors and see how it goes...I have read in a few different sites of people doing this with some mods to the mirrors.

Ill post pics of either my bike with the mirrors, or a pic of a set of brand new gsxr mirrors in a million pieces :lol:

Could you elaborate on SRAD? Being a newb, I havnt the foggiest about what SRAD is, after a few searches I get a lot of results for different sized GSXRs...is SRAD a flavour of a GSXR?

If this is a stupid question, please flame at will...it will help me remember what SRAD means :P

I have no idea either but after googling I have to agree with your results... SRAD looks like a GSXR :)

SRAD stands for Suzuki Ram Air D...D...D...Device?

It's just what early GSXR's from the mid 90's were called and were fitted with I think.

SRAD was the GSXR 750 from 1996-1999. I think the 600 version was 1997-2000.

So it looks like Im looking for a kickstand from a 96-00 gsxr...I wonder if the RAM air kick stand will make the bike faster :lol: :lol:
