Big Sigh.....

And there was me thinking I wouldn't have to put my jacket lining back in until at least September.....

Oh well I hope you all got as much riding in in the summer as possible, now it seems its back to heated grips and winter gear.....

Had planned a full days riding weekend after next (Sat 12th) as the wife and bairns are away, heres hoping the weather improves before then.....

(looks behind to look out of patio doors to see trees swaying rapidly in the garden and the cat looking forlornly waiting to come in....)

hey ho.

timwilky 03-08-06 12:16 PM

Oh come on, it is lovely today, blue skies, a few whisps of very light cloud. ideal riding weather. not hot and sweaty, very pleasant

Want some heat, Try anywhere on the US EAST coast. It was 38 C yesterday (with humidity, in Washington DC). Been like this for over a week. I dont think I've seen anyone on a bike recently. No fun.

Viney 03-08-06 12:46 PM

No pleaseing some people is there. Last week we where all moaning that it was to hot and sweaty, now its cold and wet.

Why oh why do the british moan about out inclemnet wetaher so much?

Tim in Belgium 03-08-06 02:27 PM

It's turning out nice on Teesside this afternoon, unfortunately the bike is in Belgium and won't be getting back until late tonight.

Gordon B 03-08-06 03:10 PM

Not really moaning, more a sense of irony that on the first day of August I had to leave my gear dripping in the garage after my ride home from work when only the previous day I had been sunbathing in the back garden....

I just sometimes wish we could have proper seasons rather than all mixed in together.....

You should move to Scotland, it's a perfect biking day up here... Obviously, I'm locked in an office instead.
