A cunning plan
 

Ok guys following on from last nights meet and following on from some points from Abyss I have an idea which you may or may not like.

Basically during the winter months I cant see many of us going for rideouts as the roads turn bad and the light fades etc. So the idea is keep the anchor fortnightly throughout the year. But during the better months when people want to ride, we can go for a mini rideout and a random pub in the week in between.

Example: 10th August - Anchor
17th August - Mini rideout and a pub
24th August - Anchor

And so on and so on.

This way you combine a pub meet one week with a mini rideout the next.

Just an idea, what does everyone else think?

That is indeed a cunning plan - i like it. The late arrivals at the horses ran that same format aswell. I am also fine doing something random like last night - especially if the weather is good.

But does the alternate need to be on a Thursday - maybe that could be:
1) Not a Thursday if people wantr to do other things on Thursdays
2) Random to suit the majority of people - like last night

Yer we can be flexible on days, though I think a midweek would probably suit most so Tues/Weds/Thurs but dont see any problem with that
