Just brought a scottoiler

Right, out of lazyness i just brought a scottoiler... question, is it easy to install? Am i going to start crying when i try? (delivered in a few days)

You need to lift the tank to get to the throtle bodies and install the vac line it needs. Aparently not hard on a FI bike. Look on the main part of the site, i think there is a couple of pics for install.

SpankyHam 03-08-06 02:54 PM

Very easy.

Was my first mod I did on the bike.

dunno. good luck and let me know how you get on. Is it the twin oil drop thing you got or the single. Someone will be along to translate 'thing' into technical terms that other people can understand.

just went for the Universal Kit (so single)

Dont know if you have to lift the tank, instructions on the website Clicky arnt the greatest.

I don't think you need to lift the tank to get to the vacuum take off on a FI bike.
When you take delivery of it, if you feel that you're not confident of fitting it yourself, PM me and we'll discuss fitting.

PS Just brought a Scottoiler what or where?
