Miami Vice

Seen it!
Very little plot or development of characters, but nothing like the TV series.
Some sex and loads of violence, altogether much better action type film than your usual run of the mill.
Some real kick ass female cops too, but I won't ruin it by telling you too much :)

I saw it tonight. I wasn't expecting high art or intellectualism, just a stylish well executed action film. I wasn't disappointed. Go see it. :)

Son and his girlfriend saw it last night and were disappointed. But then again they hadn't got a clue what Miami vice was about in the first place and anything resembling a plot would confuse them. Quote her, "I have difficulty reading a whole sentence". Not a brain between them

I found the film a little hard to follow, but that was down to the filming, and cutting of the film, i also thought the sound was pants. Id still recomend it though, just wait til it comes out on dvd

I'm a big Michael Mann fan and I must say his latest offerings haven't been great.

I watched Collatarel the other night and I was pretty dissapointed.

I thought Collateral was brilliant, the pace, the stark realism of the violence. Very good I thought.

Miami Vice was filmed in HD. I wish I'd known before I could have paid closer attention. I was never a huge fan of the telly series. It was groundbreaking telly at the time tho. The scene in the series where Crockett and Tubbs are tooling up for the gunfight and driving to sort the villians out to Phil Collins' In the Air Tonight was just a classic 80's TV moment. The clothes and the stubble were pants tho...
