K4 Engine bits
 

Hi All,


My original SV650s K4 engine (which blew up on me along the M4)
Still has some bits that are salvagable. So make me an offer.
I don't profess to be a mechanic, and have spoken to the garage that fitted the new engine, and they checked the old one. The bits that have gone are:
Piston
Barrells
Crank
Big End

The bits that you could salvage from this engine are:

Head
Engine Casings (which are in very good condition)
Oil Pump
Water Pump
The engine also has the hoses and clips on it still (if they're any use to anyone)

I'm looking at getting rid of the whole thing, rather than stripping bits off.
So if anyone is interested, make me a reasonable offer.

I also have the original Exhaust, which has done less than 500 miles.

I also have the original SV screen (Which can go to a good home, for pennies) as it still has the Blue Cow Mug Shot on the screen, which I have been informd wil come of with some soap and elbow power.

Anyone interested?

How much for the head? or rather, I specifically want the cam chain tensioners.

I would really like to get rid of the whole thing to be honest mate.

I'm not really that mechanically minded, and would be utterly useless at taking the bits off that you're after. Hence the reason for getting rid of the whole engine as it is.

edit: just to check, this would be both heads, right?
