basic mechanical Qs

I'm new to biking and not great with a spanner so was hoping to get a few basic queries answered.

My '99 SV650s was bought from a friend who emmigrated. He sold it to me for £500 as he was in a rush to leave and didn't have time to fix various minor problems. He had dropped it on its right hand side. I've replaced the snapped back brake pedal and wing mirror but the following two things are worrying me as it's going for its MOT on Saturday.

The front right hand indicator stalk is held on by gaffer tape as the fairing is cracked. Is this a definite MOT fail and if so is there a way to fix without replacing the fairing?

The right hand brake disc rattles and is loose enough to move a few mills around the hub. Again is this a fail?

Thanks to anyone who replies :)

indicator and fairing should be fine unless it is that bad it will all fall apart while riding.

the front disc sounds to me like its not going to pass i may be wrong but that does not sound safe.

Indicators have to be securely mounted, now i passed with them only being held onto the front headlight with gaffa tape (i have no fairing on my S). The examiner tugged on them and said that they were secure enough.

The disk cannot have much sideways movement, but a bit rotational is fine as long as all the rivets are intact.
