Both footpeg assemblies are different to keep the seat -> peg measurement correct, with the later bikes having a different rear subframe. The K3 pegs are ever so slightly higher (Though they will fit)

This would be because the subframe's at a different angle so the same "fillers" won't fit.

This seems to be a slightly odd, non-graphical "spot the difference" is there a particular aim we're after :?

no not really  i was just looking at the things i would have changed on the sv to make it a better bike eg. the soft cheese like chain adjuster marker plates  the rear brake hose clip on the swingarm looks poo and rusts easy.
things like that.

The fuel pump changed between the K3/4 and K5, though I'm not sure exactly what the changes were - but they're different part numbers. Probably something to do with the fact that K5's and onwards brought back the flashing fuel light before going solid.

Also, the ECU was upgraded in someway, as the plug-n-play Suzuki alarm is not compatible with the K3 and K4.

Only kidding. It's to fit the subframe!
