New Tattoo!

Well boys & girls, I have at last got the tattoo I've wanted for ages done!
It's a Phoenix rising from the flames.
Wanted it for ages since I had an MS scare a few years ago, where I lost the sensation in/use of my arms & legs and had to learn to walk again (brain had somehow also forgotten how to do this - or even sit upright!). They tell me now that it wasn't MS - thank god - but don't have a clue what it was!
I then had my big bike accident, which I feel I'm rather lucky to have survived! (I was thrown 25 metres up the road, landed on my head, broke 6 bokes & was unconscious & not breathing!).
So - I kinda associate with the Phoenix/ashes kinda thing. I always liked phoenixes any way but this just made me like them even more!

It took just over 3 hours which people keep telling me is nuts for a first tattoo but I didn't find it too bad!
I'm very pleased with the results and can't wait for the dressing to come off! :D

It was done by Yan at Holy Cow Tattoos and he designed it for me too... One of the reasons I waited so long before getting it was that I hadn't found anything I liked enough to have permanently emblazoned on my body and I can't draw to save my life!
I popped in to see Yan and see what he thought and he drew a rough idea out in about 3 minutes - I fell in love with it straight away!
I didn't see the final design until this morning when I turned up for my appointment and I only saw the colours once it had been finished!
I did give him permission to just do what he thought was good, as I had seen loads of his work and been mighty impressed!

Any way - that's all folks - I'm rathr chuffed!!! :D

Yes - I have a hairy chest!
This is because I have been through puberty!
Most women like it - I suppose it's down to not feeling they're molesting a child... This also runs true with those missing a 'Y' chromasome as well!
As for the tat - I can't stop looking at the picture!

Nice tat. I'm not normally a fan of colours, but that I like.

Don't let them make you feel bad about the rug. They're just jealous that they can't grow one.
