Video - DVD converter - Recomendations
I need a Video to DVD converter package
Need something to plug in to my PC and the Video, so that i can transfer the stuff to DVD. I have a few videos that i need to do, and at £7.99 a hour it will be cheaper to buy a piece of kit. |
im sure there are many options availble,
one option could be to buy a TV card for your pc, plug the video directly into it and record from it, then use something like nero to burn it to a dvd. there is the option of setting up a webcam pointing at your tv screen, but the quality will be really poor. |
a cheap analogue TV card, such as this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PCI-TV-Tuner-C...QQcmdZViewItem
you do need quite a large hard drive though to store all that digital video on though, be prepared, and it will take your computer some time to do, depending on your processing power. |
Not quite what im after, but its another option i suppose
|
by the sound of it you want somthing liek the old Iomega Buz drive
somthing like http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/IOMEGA-BUZ-MUL...QQcmdZViewItem alows you to plug what video you want into your pc and record it, then burn to dvd HTH Marshall |
Why not just buy a cheap standalone DVD recorder from somewhere like Tescos or PC World?

As for the issue, I'd just go with an Analoge Video decoder card (usually PCI etc) and run a cable from the video to the PC. Record using the software supplied, and burn using Nero. That's the setup I did for my dad. Quality is same as the video, and it cost him something like £30. |
