Idiot Sports Bike Rider:

Wife and me travelling along a dual carriageway(A19), overtaking some vehicles in the car when we both saw a bike coming up very fast. Wife was just about to indicate and move back into the nearside lane when he decided to undertake us at around 100MPH!!! He was very lucky, most car drivers would have dived into the inside lane, seeing headlights coming up at the speed he was travelling.

Glad you had a calibrated speed gun handy.
You're so right he couldn't possibly have had an escape route planned if you had made a manoeuvre

idiot

We where "making progress" and he passed us at hell of a rate. Did not need a calibrated speed gun to know he was well over speed limit.

If you'd pulled across on him and not hit him, you can guarantee he'd be on some forum right now "Some ****ing cager pulled across on me, I jsut managed too avoid him because I'm that l33t. Cars suck"

I may have done the same kinda thing on the M62...

I was riding on the A1 last week, filtering slowly through traffic when it got below 40mph, otherwise sticking in lane with the cars. Some guy on an old Kwak came flying through, he slowed for a while in front of me, I think trying to get me to race him, then gave up and off he went fast filtering. 10 miles up the road he's at the side of the road having a big argument with a cage driver and pointing at the side of his bike, I'm guessing because the car changed lanes and took the bike with him. No sympathy from me..

I'm guilty of doing things like this from time to time and i'll put my hands up to it.

I see the vehicle in front and make my choices. I plan on them not moving back into the lane they came from because a lot of cars dont and plan my undertake sensibly for the conditons. if its not safe i'll hang back and flash the pass light at the car in front.... or sometimes flash them and do the unertake so they see where i went.

Not, big or clever but when youre on a flow and trying to get someplace if a judgment call yuou make sometimes.

Dont get me wrong, if it all went pear shaped wouldnt be very inclined to blame anyone but myself.

A summer of commuting down the A12 on the bike has seen my patience for cages drop to dangerous levels.

I'm now tyring to sell the car, no longer for cash reasons, but before I go postal behind another queue of 20 cars doing 50 in the fast lane
