my other half did the same trackday yesterday so was reliving it all watching.

DoubleD - Yep, its me. Technically it was a trackday not ‘racing’ ;) … taking the p1ss like that on an SV rocks, I was giggling to myself when I came back in after that session!! :D

RizlaSV - We were really lucky with the weather, perfect conditions, but boy was there a lot of red flags/time wasted!! :cry:

What session is that then, i cant believe how much faster you are then everything else there.

gixxers, dukes etc no problem the little sv just goes round the outside. I bet there were a few :oops: faces with you in the pits that day.

It was session 3 of the day, unless you mean ‘group’ in which case it was group 2 (Inters).

Weazelz from this site was there too, you can see him briefly between ~3:47 and ~3:55 in the vid. ;)

I have watched it a few times over now to catch the intricacies … it makes me smile every time I look at it!! I like the one where the guy storms past at the end of the backstraight, and then parks it right in front of me (~2:02mins in) … I just move over and go round the outside, taking him and a coupla others :lol:

He actually came up to me in the pits and had the cheek to say I was taking his lines!!! I just said sorry dude, but I thought you were riding erratically and, well like a t1t and I was pleased when I got a few bikes between us so he had no chance to 'collect' me in one of his moves!! :lol:

dammit - I'd missed that, but then you were past so quick. of all the sequences you put up, you had to put that one :-P

I did tell you mine was a 400/running on one cylinder/<other_poor_excuse>, right? ;-)

I had a good day, nice weather, great track, didn't bin the bike (again). s'stone is great, but I feel like I only learnt about half of it in one day .. it's so wide it's like riding in a carpark, so you can take such a variety of lines, & pretty much every corner leads into another .. I'd love to go back (maybe on a 600-il4 though) :-D

It was a good day, Silverstone GP is an awesome track, its width and length are what make it so different and consequently so much fun, you can take a variety of lines, every one just as quick as another, that’s how I could be as rude as I was in that vid!! Just see where they are and take/make up an alternative line!! :) Been there 3 times now and still find it great fun, I'd go again tomorrow!! :)

A demon on a bike you are. seriously good stuff.

I'm now thinking of making a compilation on of your exploits on the SV for educational purposes :P .

The complilation will be passed on to anyone whinging about how the SV is so slooooow and therefore the reason why they need to up the BHP :roll: :lol: .
