really pleased with my sv tonight

was leaving bassetts pole and was on the traffic island sitting at traffic lights with lots of other bikes, the lights change to green and i go abit sharpish the bike next to me does the same it was an r6, the r6 raced in front of me into a slight bend in the on coming duel carriageway by this time i had the sv in 5th and pin'd hard open! i looked down to see well into 3 digits while on this bend  the sv's budget rear spring was starting to move around abit but i kept the gas on until the road straightened out, the sv kept up with the r6 on this corner! on the straight the r6 backed off and so did i because I'd left my mate behind  the little sv can really get a clog on when it has to and in useable speeds keep up with most things.
the reason you need to back off before the sv tops out is more of a sensible decision when its dark and the old bill are around and this goes for if you have 160bhp or 70bhp. :D

I know.. Cracking bike when you really give 'em some. I have a grin lik a cheshire cat after a good blast. Never ceases to amaze me as to how quick it really is.

Oh and all on those private roads....

Exactly, it'll keep up with most bikes on regular A-roads its only when you hit a duel carrigeway or the M-way that others leave you behind.

front on my k3 seems planted. i think its an eye opener to other big sports bike riders when the sv gets on roads that aint perfectly straight.
my cousin also said it was kinda funny watching the other bikes from behind thrash their gears to get em going and he could hear me pulling away without the gear changes. oh yea and mine sounded loads better :D
