Buying a bike/importing from the isle of man

As above I might buy one located at the isle of man.

I know they have different numberplate styles etc.

But they're still part of the UK so is there anything special I have to do ?

Also can anyone recommend a good & cheap delivery service ?

Thanks

There are no VAT implications as there possibly may be with bringing in from another EC country as the IOM is deemed to be part of the Fiscal territory of the UK.

So in theory you shouldnt need to complete a VAT411 form for registrering it. You will need all its documentation though I think for registering it.

Dont know about a delivery service - but I would seriously look into riding it back - and take a tour of the Isle of Man in the process - some great roads/scenery there 8)
