my petrol light has just come on,i have done 170miles on a full tank,but i have been booting it a bit :twisted: :riding: wot would you think is avrage on a full tank?

115 on my Pointy,125 on my old Curvy.

General commuting and thrashing about.

You can't have been booting it that much, less than 100 miles per tank is what you get when you boot it.

Anyway do a search and you'll see all the answers cos we have this thread about once a week.

Anyway, for me, from full to the light flashing is around 130miles. According to the book you get 40miles after that (depending on wrist position), most I've pushed it for is around 30miles.

I remember when she was brand new & still being warn in. I was booting it along under 5000rpm & managed around 180 to the light. I've also had times when it feels like I've been filling up after around 90miles. But that's usually linked to me having a pap day in the office! :shock:

As part of the echo's I see on this subject I get 140-150 before me light comes on, though there is load of info on my blog. Also I noticed rather nicely today that fuel was at a new low of 86.9...

My fuel light came on at 115 miles on saturday, which is very good for me. Usually it lights up around 100.

Usually about 120 to the light. I've gone to 160 before refueling. This is not to be confused with MPG, some people put more fuel in the tank than others.
