A blow torch and a scraper will do the job but be careful not to scorch the wood

We have just had 11 doors stripped (unfortunately nowhere near you). It cost us £12 per door, and £6 per batch collection / delivery charge.

We have stripped the rest of the woodwork by hand - and it has taken WEEKS of hard graft. Hot air gun to remove the paint, then meths and wire wool to remove the laquer under the paint.

Dip them - better results and zero effort.
