Insurance

Having done the obligatory search the day I changed my bike, and having found and bought the best quote I could (£450) I couldn't help thinking that it was still a bit steep.

Today (within the 14 day colling off period for my current insurance) I found I could get slightly better cover for £308 from ebikeinsurance.co.uk

I made the switch, and got back £407 of my orginal premium.

I had never heard of this company before, but they are approved by MAG.
You admin your policy yourself, so no more £20 admin fee's either.

Thought I'd share the info.

Heh, keep up. A good number of people from here are already with them (myself included)
You can certainly get some good deals from them, though they don't seem to like Swindon very much.

Suzuki official insurances are Express. I was with them before they partnered up properly, and they weren't bad, though not all that cheap.
I have generally better service and a better level of cover now for alot less money.

Renewed my fully comp with Red Star for £114 (and this despite
collecting 3 points for speeding). Great being old!

Will try out ebikeinsurance.co.uk next year.
