Well ive made a copper smile
Just coming home from work, (i live in a village in the country) and get flagged down by a car to slow down, ok-usually means theres a horse rider about-come round bend and.....
Theres SHEEP in the middle of the road!, no ones stopping to try and round them up/move them off the road so i pull over, chuck gloves etc on floor and go to call the police when i cop car turns up. poor guy hadnt a clue what to do, so theres me, in my leathers, running up and down this road after these sheep, directing the officer where to stand etc. Half an hour later and lots of amused car drivers we mananged to get them back in a field, needless to say said officer left with a grin on his face. good job i live on farm lol. |
I'll bet he was relieved you were there

:D They're tricky to catch aren't they ?
I was marshalling at a car sprint event last year when a couple of sheep escaped from a nearby field and ran onto the track  There was nothing about how to deal with sheep in the BMMC handbook either  |
