Supermoto Project

Hi, first post so not sure if i need to get a virtual round of drinks in.

Anyway, I have a VOR supermoto, which for those of you who don't know is a highly temperamental piece of italian machinary. Like most Italian motorcycle companies VOR is going though a period of insolvency which is making parts difficult to come by.

So I am thinking that when my engine explodes and it is likely to do so, I want to graft in an SV 650 engine. What I was hoping is that someone has a diagram of the engine with measurements so I can see if it will fit.

I think at 70 ish HP in a bike that will weigh 130kg's would be fun.

Also does anyone know any bike customisers in London who do frame modifications

Thanks

No diagram, but I've got an engine in the garage I can measure up if you want... Always in favour of the lunatic projects :) An anti-supermono. Or an SX550 you don't have to strip every 60 hours. Though do be aware the SV engine weighs a fair old bit.

cheers mate if you could measure it up that would be good.

The VOR is pretty light to start with and the 17hp more than standard should make up for the weight difference.

I may need to firm up suspension though.

Does anyone have the weight numbers for the engine?

I'll bung it and the carbs on the bathroom scales ;)
