Ebay Advice Please
 

i have just sold some things on ebey, so now i have £xx in my pay pal account, when i pay for things through paypal the money comes out of my bank account.so i thouhgt money paid to me would go into my bank account.what do i do with the money i pp account

money in you PP acct can be used against other purchases with the balance taken from your account. I would not remove money from PP unless its above £50 because you will have to pay a fee.

dose ebay automaticly take the £10out of pp 1st

When you get to the payment screen in paypal, it will say

Total cost: 20
balance in your PP account: 10
We will take from your bank account: 10

Or something like that!

ebay is not taking money from myy pp account, its coming straight out of my bank account so when i sell somthig pp account goes up but is not taken out when i buy stuff how do i change this?

wait until you have £50 then transfere it to you bank for free.

There's an option you chose (a button you click) as to source of funds each time you pay.

Go into 'My eBay' and look down the left navigation menu thingamagigwotzits!
There should be one for 'Seller Account'.

There are some preferences for which account you want eBay to consider your 'Primary' account (be it Paypal or Bank etc) and I think they are in there somewhere.

Either that or you misdirected it somewhere during the checkout process when you bought something - instead of paying my Paypal you instructed eBay to take the money direct from your bank.

A checkout problem is more likely if the transaction left you Paypal account untouched even though there were funds in it.


Um, sorry if that's not too clear - I'm fine when 'doing' this kinda thing but just really crap at explaining it to someone else when I can't actually 'see' the problem. :roll:

Then you have to withdraw from Paypal to your bank account, and it will take about 5 days..
