belly pan of full lowers?
Was just wondering what the overall view of people were on what you prefer?
i personally think that the curvy needs the full lowers, and the pointy wants the belly pan! who agrees/disagrees? P.s sorry if this has been covered b4!! |
I don't like lowers- they always look bolted on. Proper full fairings I like, like 2 Wheel Junkie, but I prefer bellypans overall. Pyramids or NRP for the curvy, Poly 26 for the pointy.

I must say that the belly pan finishes my pointy off quite nicely.
My brother has put a belly pan on his curvy and it looks better with one on. all IMO of course. |

Now that gets my vote over any of the above polls, but the only down side with getting the full fairing is that you going to be looking at getting on for £1000 to fet it shipped over here, i personally would love to get one but just cant aford it! so if anyone does know of some way to get one cheaper than i have been able to find i would be very greatfull!!!!! or even if there is any companys that are closer to this part of the world that do similar things! |
JHS sells 2WJ stuff, or used to anyway. But it shouldn't be that high, even the full kit (with tail section and mudguard) plus the postage estimate from 2WJ is only about $1300US. Then you've got to paint it, of course.
I'ev got a link somewhere to an italian compnay that makes an SV full fairign, but I've lost it- I'll check it out tonight. |

well the quote i got was for the pack with the fairing and front fenda, not the tail section. it was £400 for the items, then a further £450 for it to be shipped!!!!!!! Which is far to much miney in my opinion!!! as for spraying i will only need to pay for the paint as i can get it done at a mates garage! but if there is a cheaper way of doing it i will be so interested in it!!! |

Na i have tried them b4, they only do the curvy now, no longer have things for the pointy!! which sucks!!!!!
Cheers anyway tho man, but if you can find that link for that italian company you said about that would be really cool!! |

Or, get an RS250 fairing, they fit quite well and look fantastic. Say a couple of street SVs done that way, never up close but in photos they both looked absolutely superb. |

Norhty: You got any photos of that RS conversion? Might be interesting. |
