Hugger probloms

I recently bought a genuine suzuki hugger for my k3 pointy all nice and colour coded. However, I went in to the garage thinking this will take half an hour max and be a doddle to fit as it is a genuine part. When fitting it i discovered that on the right hand side the hole don't line up by about an inch and a half. And there are two holes on the left side and only one in the swingarm. I checked the instructions and there is a picture of a SV with a lovely fitting hugger with TWO rear brake line support things and my bike only has one. Anybody got any info./ideas regarding this? Anyone had the same problem as I think a hugger is a wise investment for someone who lives in Scotland!

Cheers

Horney

You sure its for an SV?
Mine has a genuine suzi hugger on a K3 SVs, this is what it should look like on the right hand side (off side).

 You can't change it?

It's obviously different for a reason as they have different swingarms aand they fit very close ti the rear wheel. I would get the right one if I was you.

Agreed, take it back. Might be worth bodging it if youd payed pennies for it but if you've paid anything close to retail they should replace it with the right one.
