Right guys, i only got a padock stand yestarday so im not sure if this is right or not.

with my bike on the padock stand, even if i pull the clutch in, if i spin the rear wheel it only goes round a couple of times b4 it stops (spins for a second or two) i dont think its the brakes (ill check tonight). but the question is, could i have done the axle bolt up too tight, i did use a torque wrench set correctly.

My bandit 600, used to spin a lot more, just seems like too much resistance

any ideas?

you cant over tighten the spindle?i dont think anyway

Yes you can, but you would have to realy go mad on it.

im tightening to the correct torque setting, and even if my torque wrench was out, it shouldnt make that much difference.

if there any bearing inside the wheel that needs to be greased?

Depends how hard you spin it :) There's a load of drag on the rear wheel, from the chain and the bits of the drivetrain that are still engaged in neutral. When you spin it with girly arms like mine it spins twice. You on the other hand have proper man arms, so I'd expect it to spin for hours.

Marshall. Tyr a couple of things mate. Pop the rear caliper off. Spin it. Check the chain tension is correct. Other than that, what Northy said. Lots of drag even in neutral.

Remember to pop the caliper back on before you ride.
