I know i am being thick here, but a lot of people say they have a K3... what is this? I have a 1999 SV650S but have not seen any K3 written anywhere on the paperwork?

k3 is a 2003 model bike like mine, altho my bike is a 54 plate it is a 2003 model.

From 2002 Suzuki decided to use the K* model designation with * being the year model.
K2 = 2002
K3 = 2003

2001 = K1 :)

Sort of I guess.

My 'W' reg(SY) was a 2000 and my 'Y' reg (2000) is also an SY. Think I 've got that the right way.
