about this Oxford Oximiser??
right well basicly in my previous posts ive had trouble with my battery so ive decided to buy this
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/OXFORD-OXIMISE...QQcmdZViewItem £22!!! well cheep! but any way two questions it says "Comes with sub harness that is fitted to your bike and a separate crocodile clip lead" do you think he means leads that go down to the battery to make it easyer to attach?? i might drop him a e-mail im jsut after a quick reply also do you think itl b ok to use this like 3 - 4 days a week as i will be leaving my bike in a differnt place on the other days... oo and whist im on the subject is it ok for outside use?? thanks! |
They come with 2 types of leads. Crocodile + ones to leave fixed to your battery so you can 'plug' the bike in. I think there are waterproof leads (extra, try eBay) as well. Top piece of kit, used one for 5 years and never had a battery problem, even when stood for 3 weeks.

Had one for years. Its connected 24/7. Bloody great it is too.
Apart from when I'm riding it of course!! |
Ive recently had some trouble with the connectors on the oxi, and i know someone else who has gone through 2 of them. Theyre a good bit of kit, but im not sure theyre as bulletproof as i thought they were a year ago

Got one today from Infinity. £24.99.
Cheaper than ebay all things considered! |
