Hey Yvo

Do you mean one of these Race Doctors. This guy was first class at the UGP.
I won't be able to make it tonight but I do hope the night goes well and there is a good turn out for a worthy cause.

yes thats one of the Dr's - these guys have to be able to handle a bike at speed and along with the added weight of the waist bags and back pack. They were handed around on the night and they are really heavy!

they were explaining that one of those waistbags costs £350 - £400 and another £300 to fill it with medical equip and the same goes for the backpak. All vital stuff.

In fact one of the Drs on the way down to Kells ? i think it was - came across a biker who had missed one of those twisty corners and hit a car. The guy had serious injuries but luckily the Dr was able to help out until an ambulance - just at the right place at the right time.

Laurelvale Cricket Club donated £1000 they raised at a Rock night recently! Every bit helps.

It was a good night some pics are http://www.irishbikeracing.com/phpBB...pic.php?t=4950
