I just use a foggy in my lid and don't have any issue.....

On the inside of the visor (or your specs) rub on some neat Fairy Liquid leave it for about 5 mins until it dries and then polish off with a dry soft cloth.

Result: no steaming up. =D>

Tried the Cat Crap and it is just as its called...........
