Riding Test in Bradford

Well my brother went for his riding test yesterday at 8:20. Got there and the test guy said. Oh I forgot my radio and bike... So they cancelled his test. So he took a day of work and hired a bike from the riding school. and they didn't even say sorry.

So his riding school managed to get him a test for Monday morning same time but he will have to pay again and take another day off work. That really sucks.

And the worst thing is I got someone else to do a test at work and he had the same thing about a month ago. Except he got told that his bike had broken down on the way home the evening before.

NICE! :(

Seems they don't want to go out in the rain or something :(

I had an awful instructor for my CBT which I did in Wigan, locals will have seen the guy on a clapped out brown pan european. The guy was so abusive it was unbeleivable.

Anyway! Pass on my best for his test and mate id push for a free retest under the circumstances you have described.

In the end he stood there shouting in the test centre as far as I am aware and they gave him a compensations form.. Now how much compensation you get for a days work and a bike hire I don't know but he will surely try it on.

I did my test in Preston and it was raining so my examiner - wait for it - followed me in a 4x4

I did find that a bit strange as i was used to being followed by another bike...but hey I passed so it doesn't matter :D

Good luck to you mate

Jo.

i was fooled by the examiner in a car as it was "spitting"

Well he got three minors! Hurray shame he also got a major and failed.

It seems he set off to do a u-turn and left the side stand down (Most bikes don't let you put the bike in gear and have the stand down but his did.)

Anyway he is now booked in for 13th. So he will pass this time. And I picked up his bike from Harrogate last night. Nice T reg Yellow SV. NICE!

Cor blimey, you didn't tell me you'd posted this :(

Examiner yesterday was the same chap that "forgot" his radios last week. Annoyingly, he's a reasonable chap, so the test was nice and relaxed and easy. Picked some nice roads for the test too :)

Anyway, stop the jokes about the side stand and stop wishing your bike rode as well as mine (apparently does)... 8)
