Well someone organised a golf day yesturday for the company, except i don't play golf, so rather than them offer for those who don't play golf to come along and sit in the bar, or go out elsewhere the three of us out of 14 or so, were left in the office to work until 5. And duly i did considering my appraisal was a little bit on the negative side.

This wasn't just the big wigs either... everyone who played could go....

now I'm not bitter and twisted, and its golf so i really dont care about the golf... but is it me or is that a little bit off...

Happens every year in our place. All the golfers (male only - which is a disgrace) go to the outing from about 12 right through the day until late. Customers are there too of course. Anyone who doesn't play stays in the office and covers the phones. I suppose its not right that we all go play and the rest has to work

Seems a bit off - but life isn't fair, When the smokers in our office leave (on mass) to satisfy their addiction, I jump on here, they return and have a coffee break, so do I.

next time tell them you play g*lf,turn up in those stupid tarten slacks & a silly hat.(just to blend in)

i dont smoke either, but i have taken it upon myself to stop what im doing & just walk out whenever i feel like for 5-10 mins :roll:
