lower seat

Hi all
I have just bought a sv650 on a 52 reg for my girlfriend after she sat on one it the local bike shop and managed to put both feet on the ground. she is a little on the short side so finding a bike she can feel safe on has been hard. the one i have bought dose not have the lower seat and so she cant put both feet down. Can any one tell me where i can get a new seat or get the current one modified . We live in sussex so if their is somewhere i can walk in to the would be great otherwise somewhere i can send away to.

Cheers for any help people can give.

lower seat

Matt,
is it a curvy ? as the curvy's have a lower seat height to begin with than the K3. Anyway I had the same issue when I had my curvy svs I got some one at work to take the seat cover off and shave the foam padding right down and then staple the cover back on it just made that diff to give me more confidence. You can get it done professionally if you are not very DIY it will cost about £40 if you serach under uphosterers or your local bike shop will know who locally does it in your area. I know have the KAW ER6 N which has a low seat height but I then got my seat professionally lowered this time as he changed the shape so it now looks better as well I can mail you pics if U are interested let me know

I think 52 would be injected... But not sure. If it's curvy then the OEM gel seat is lower, as well as being comfy, but it's not much better than modifying a stock seat IMO.
