Would you believe I only just heard the phrase "Winterise your bike" the other day for the first time!!! Yeah no kidding.. and I'm still in  This is my first Scottish winter :rendeer: with a motorbike in my possession and as many of you know I come from a Tropical :sunny: climate...
I want to ride my bike for as long as I can stand the cold and except for days of ice n snow etc. So do I still need to do anything special to my bike to take care of it through this difficult time of year??! :? Any tips, comments, experiences, smart @rs comments even.. all welcomed.. Cheers! |
Spray it with FS365 from scottoiler or the other product? or at least WD40.
Oh and STOP CLEANING IT! |

On Sunday I had to spend 3 hours cleaning it... |
Stopped polishing mine a few weeks ago... Half hour on the bike each way for work every day... now the jet wash is a permenant feature at the back of the house to give it a quick blast to take the grime off
Dont bother to wash the wheels during the week.. this is very pointless just now with the naff weather :( Gonna get it washed and polished this weekend (including the wheels) |

Seriously though.. can't believe thats all it takes!! :o Thought there'd be a lot more to it than that..story of my life..eh? Oh and thanks!! |
