U2 concert
 

At a U2 concert in Glasgow, Bono asks the audience for some quiet.

Then in the silence, he starts to slowly clap his hands.
Holding the audience in total silence, he says into the microphone
"Every time I clap my hands, a child in Africa dies."

A voice from near the front pierces the silence;




"Well, stop f#@king doing it then."

Thats just soooooooooo funny!

Bono's head is so far up his own fundamental orifice he should be able to eat his own words before he says them. I don't doubt his sentiments are sincere; just a little misplaced. Surely someone with his enormous wealth could pay more out of his own pocket to do some good, rather than implore the less well off members of society to part with their hard-earned cash. What I'm trying to say is that £1000 to me, or most other members of this forum, is a lot of money. Whereas Bono probably makes that in, say, half an hour.
