Rear Cam Chain Tensioner - Easy way to remove? (Curvy)
 

Anyone got any useful tips on the best way to access/remove the rear CCT?

After spending a few hours on the front one, I took the bike out and realised it was actually the rear one :roll:

Any tips would be useful,

I'd much rather take the engine out to do it but if there is a way to get pass the exhaust and rear wheel (albeit removing them) then let me know!!

The rear one? Hell thats the easy one!

Remove the right hand side rear set and tuck it between the wheel and the passenger peg so its well out of the way. You might have to stretch the brake line/bend the footpeg back to do this. Use a 5-6mm allen key socket on an extension and with a ratchet, undo it. Fairly straight forward to be honest, you just have to have the allen key socket instead of an actual allen key otherwise you will have access problems!!

As far as I can remember...there is nothing else to do. The exhaust doesn't get in the way, you just have to use an extension (or 2) to allow you to undo it with the ratchet. I didn't have to remove anything other than the rear set (rear brake one btw)

If you do it from the left of the bike, you can do it with the rearset still on, but it's miles easier just to unbolt it. Fiddly, but not difficult to do either way. Dropping the engine for this would be, quite frankly, insane :)
