Wonder why they even bother with the physical, considering the amount of digital they did...

Well i guess doing it that way is cheaper than several pints of Stella

She's beautiful to start with, freakishly unnatural by the time they're finished. I mean not everybody can look like linda evangelista can they.

Since I do design, photo retouching and illustration for a marketing company I must admit to doing similar stuff using photoshop but it doesn't extend to enlargening eyes and elongating necks. It's more like removing blemishes and smoothing out wrinkles. I sort of do the work the make up artist missed out. But the face distortion is just wrong.

Think about how she must feel, knowing that no matter how hard she tries to look her best, they are always gonna have to use a computer to get the "beautiful" woman they need for their whatever-it-is they are promoting.

i think she looks fine b4

Actually I don't think she would be feeling anything of the sort. She looks like a professional and they know thay're there for the job and sometimes things/people are computer manipulated to get the right feel /mood to a product being advertised. So if you're in the business you won't be taking it like that. Think of it like acting. The producer may want you to look older so he instructs the make up artist to do just that.
