Pubs in swindon..
 

Went out with my best mate, my other half and a few others last night in swindon.
I got TURNED AWAY from 4 pubs.....Why?? Because i didnt have any i.d to prove that i was 18!!! IM 22 FFS!!!! I argued that i have tattoos and you need to be 18 or over to have them done, bouncers response? "Yer well, i had tattoos done when i was 16"...ermm well i have 10 tattoos sooo... :roll:
what makes it worse is the people i was out with are in their late 20's early 30's!

You shouldn't look so young then. ;)

You can't really blame the bouncer, he does have to do his job, even if that means common sense goes out the window.

Which pubs did you get turned away from?
You should have said you were down, we would probably have been up for going out again this weekend.

having 10 tattoo's is no substitute for ID :roll: even school kids have got them. coming up to xmas there is a clamp down on ID & if you are not a regular you will get ID'd.& you must look younger than you are if it happened 4 times :oops:

Theres common sense and theres being down right stupid! ive NEVER been i.d to get in pubs before, and its not like i wasnt all nicely dressed up etc.

How many 16yr olds do you know that would have 10 tattoos... :roll: plus would 16yr olds be hanging out with 30+ yr olds or ppl more there age?

Ermmm..yates and i cant remeber the others lol! Would have been 5 pubs but one bouncer said yes the other said no :roll: i smiled at the one who said yes and walked in :D

In 10 years time, you'll look back on this occasion fondly and wander where your youth went :wink:

There's your mistake, trying to go to pubs like Yates'. Go to a decent pub and you'll have no problems.

lol, ive never been out in swindon before/wasnt choosing what pubs we were going to.I know now better for next time lol.
