a wee list of common abbreviations used on the comp mostly ,this was copied from another forum,but we use most of these



Dunno about you guys, but some of the acronyms confuse the hell outta me.

Thought I'd put up a quick reference.

Feel free to give your input and I'll update this, coz I know I've missed loads.

PMSL - **** MySelf Laughing
ROFL - Roll On Floor Laughing

Foobar / FUBAR : fooked up beyond recognition.
WRT : with respect to
SNAFU : Situation Normal, all fooked up.

Thought is was "honest opinion". :? I'd never say humble... :lol:

That's 'Fooked Up Beyond All Recognition'. I think it was used in the film Tango & Cash... or at least it was a Kurt Russel film anyway. No idea if it had any life before then.
