Remus Revolution "Trapezoidal" in Titanium

Have just ordered a Remus Revolution "Trapezoidal" in Titanium from Hein Gericke.

Was going to get a Fuel exhaust because they look like a bargain, but was swayed by HG's 0% finance offer.

The salesman said:
Developed specifically for the bike so no remap required.
They bolt directly to the bike's exisiting mounting point which should be more secure than having a band around the can.

The salesman got one out for me and let me handle it. Felt very solid and the welds look good quality. Wonder how long it will take until the baffle falls out

Best thing... its a chrismas/birthday present from the Mrs so i don't even have to pay for it! :P

Will post some pics when it arrives.

ignoring the fact that it still has a welded system so you will have to cut the old one off any way?

nice choice btw

I mean where the can fits to the pillion footpeg. I think the body is secured directly to the footpeg - instead of using a strap. The standard can fits in this way. I couldn't look at an actual SV650 can though so i just have salesman's word for it.

Well i've just spent the evening fitting the exhaust.

Started off with an angle grinder but the disk (3") wasn't big enough to cut through all the way, had to resort to a hack saw and a bit of persuasion to break the last bit.

After that it was really simpe to fit.

Started the bike without the exhaust... mmmm sounds really nice. Video/sound clips don't do it justice at all!!!

Baffle is still in but sounds amazing. Going to go out for a proper ride in a bit to see what its like. :P

Trust me, it'll sound much better with the baffle out. The sounds not much louder but the tone is much much nicer.

Enjoy.

mmmm baffle out this morning.

Like Fizz says, not really louder but the tone is completely transformed!! Glorious.

Its on square, its a funny shape tri-oval/trapeziodal so the light is refelecting funny in that picture.
