Now that Mr Blair is in a sympathetic mood and is on the cusp of apologising for slavery, which will lead to the inevitable claims for compensation.

I would like him to consider righting other earlier wrongs. Can he start with a formal apology for the English invasion of Wales, the subjugation of it’s people, the near destruction of the native language and the plundering of mineral wealth. Next he can move on to the Highland Clearances, and then the Potato Famine.

If you don’t like your National Anthem, you’r sure not to like the rise in income tax to pay us lot back (best to pawn the Clown Jewels).

We should demand a formal apology from France for 1066, from the Italians for the Roman invasion of Britain and from the Danes, Norwegians and Swedes for the Viking raids.

What cracked me up was when he apologised for the holocaust.Silly old me always thought it was the Germans that did that.
