Speedo glass cracking?

Small fractures in the speedo glass - anybody else experienced this? Saw some pics of a 'curvy for sale SV' and noted some cracks in the glass. Dont know if it is a common complaint.

Mine's cracked too but thats because I dropped the bike :oops:

mines cracked 2 its a 02 curvy, think it was the heat or the bumpy roads

Mines an 01 curvy too

I thought it happened on a hot sunny day. Bike was facing away from sun so the sun was directly on the dash. Warranty claim????
