Shorter dogbones to raise curvy rear end

Anyone got any recommendations as to where I can get some. Tried eBay and cant seem to find anything!

I'm having undertray meets hugger issues due to ZX6 shock!

If you can get the dimensions you need ie center to centre I'll get you one made at a really good price.

Where is Northy when you need him

97mm for a 1 inch raise I think? Can't remember for sure though.

Thanks Ben, I did a search on eBay yesterday and nothing, just done a search now and got loads! Do these look OK?

That's cheaper than I can get one for you so better off to going with that  .

40mm does seem a lot though :? but see what others on here say before buying. You might also want to ask the seller what the centre to centre measurement is on those anyways.

Edit:  . You did say you have a shorter shock. How much much shorter is the ZX6 shock again

All the info suggests the ZX6 shock is slightly longer but on comparison I think its about the same as the Sv shock, its just that I have had the drop the battery tray a bit to accommodate the reservoir! I just need about 10mm raise but wouldnt mind going 35/40mm.

So what do you all think about the ones from eBay that I found? It says gigh strength steel, is that Ok for this kind of job?

northwind 06-12-06 06:44 PM

No, go for low strength every time.

I keed! Though to be honest, the suzuki ones re probably made out of Official Suzuki Monkey Metal like everything else.
