A new venue for the Friday meet in 2007? Lets have some suggestions as to place

I'll start off Queens Head Inn
The Hythe
Maldon

On the river with the Thames Barges, loads of seating outside, parking for the bikes and a bit livelier than the Barge-------------More or less in the middle of Essex

I'd go with a change, knowledge of pubs in the area is poor, but this gives an excuse for some research :D

Is that the one they do the mud race from?

Im not sure there is a lot of parking there though (not whenever Ive been there anyway) :)

Billericay high st would be good :P

There is a group of bikes that meet there already on a monday.....

No good suggesting that as you never turn up anyway. Make a lot of promises which never turn into fruition

Biker Granny, Yes,but as not a lot of people turn up anyway I'm sure we could all fit on the bit at the other side of the bollards----just seems a bit more going on there

I hate that downhill bit though! I always think Im gonna end up the river

If youre looking for more bike orientated, what about the Wheatsheaf on the old A130, the one with the pink helicopter and where they hold the bike rally every summer?

Pink Helicopter is gone  And from what I understand they're not as bike friendly as they used to be - I don't think any of the clubs meet their anymore.

Hi.
The White Hart in Billericay is a good bike pub. The Guvnor is a biker (GSXR1000) and welcomes all. The Essex Bikers meet there Wednesday nights. It's next to the post office, opposite the police station with a big car park at the back.

Sorry to but in just like this but for once I had something constructive to say :). Often look at you tho' just to see what going on. Met Supervox at Soho and he kindly showed me a better route home.

Anyhow I've got a V twin again now, nearly an SV. Well it's got an R before the SV so it can't be that different! So maybe catch up with you all soon

Mac, I know why you want to change pubs: Adam's gone
Yes, I know he had eyes for me, but A) my lady is more than enough for me, and B) you're just jealous!!

I'm trying to think of pubs that don't have gravel car parks.......
