Are k3 and k5 rear ends the same?
 

my SV1000 is a k5 and i have seen an undertray off a k3 sv1000, im just wondering if the rear ends/undertrays are the same so i dont buy in error

Andy - i am 99% certain the K3/K5 are the same on the SV1000.

I have got a K3 SV1000 with a hamicad fitted so if you want me to take any pictures/measurements then happy to help.

There are others out there, but I have been very happy with my hamicad. Early hamicads had a few problems with the design however they changed them and sent out free replacements to anyone who had problems. Mine has been on for a good couple of years now I think.

The good thing about the hamicad is that it retains the stock number plate light - I then made a bracket for the reflector, and cut down the standard plate - see below:-
